He has over 20 years of industry experience and is responsible for the company’s finance and accounting activities, its mergers and acquisitions program, and all of the company’s banking and treasury functions. In addition, Weston has oversight of the company’s contracts and corporate tax departments.

Prior to joining Acentia, Weston was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the North American operations of QinetiQ Group plc. Prior to joining QinetiQ he served as Chief Financial Officer of Apogen Technologies, Inc., where in September 2005 he led the sale of Apogen to QinetiQ Group plc. He joined Apogen from the publicly traded federal IT services company, BTG, Inc., where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Early in his career, Weston was a Senior Manager in the Assurance Services practice at the large independent accounting firm KPMG LLP.

Weston graduated from James Madison University and is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
