04 February 2008
ITSolutions was awarded a five-year full-and-open $8M contract with the Graduate School USDA to replace the existing Information Systems Group staff. It is the Graduate School’s goal to efficiently and economically improve its IT service delivery to support Graduate School employees and students. ITSolutions will incorporate industry best practices based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and Six Sigma to improve service delivery and management of information technology. The Graduate School has a diverse portfolio of products and services which it delivers to individuals and organizations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors including contractors, private citizens, and military personnel. The School enrolls between 120,000 and 200,000 students in more than 800 courses each year. “This is an exciting win for us where we were able to leverage our experience in managed IT operations with the Food and Drug Administration and the Office of Personnel Management,” stated Stefan Lalos, ITSolutions CEO. “We appreciate the USDA having confidence in our workforce and our capabilities as a team, and we look forward to helping the Graduate School meet its mission requirements and overcome challenges in the future.”
