ITSolutions Receives New Work from NRC

During the summer of 2008, ITSolutions teamed with XaSystems to propose and solicit management consulting work from the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) within the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Recently, NRR established a Center for Planning and Analysis (CPA) with the goal of making NRR activities and decisions more effective, efficient, and consistent with strategic and operating plan goals. Shortly thereafter, the partnership of ITSolutions and XaSystems began work on the first task order to modernize and transform business approaches and methodologies within the CPA. The most significant challenge for the team will be to utilize enterprise project management approaches to improve information systems and to provide more tailored solutions that respond to specific client requirements. This recent award expands our IT management consulting efforts and helps position us for future engagements in this area.
