ITSolutions Implements Proven B-3 Services Model

Silver Spring, Maryland, January 13, 2010 - Interactive Technology Solutions, LLC (ITSolutions) announced today that it has enhanced and consolidated its proven Information Technology (IT) and Program Management (PM) services delivery process under a model now provided as the B-3 methodology (Best practices; Business Processes; Body of knowledge). ITSolutions has consistently achieved measureable results for its clients by leveraging industry standard operational models and best practices, such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) framework, Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques, and its own proprietary practices such as the IF2 relocation methodology. In addition to these models and practices, B-3 also incorporates IT support frameworks including those from the Help Desk Institute (HDI), Microsoft and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). B-3 draws heavily on the body of knowledge ITSolutions has built through the successful delivery of thousands of enterprise IT projects - ensuring consistency and predictability for client deliverables and project outcomes.
The ITSolutions Program Management Office (PMO) administers the B-3 methodology as well as the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). The QMS applies standards and practices embodied by ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, and Six Sigma as well as tools and resources offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). ITSolutions has recently made a major commitment to the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). The company is currently appraised at CMMI Level 2 under a Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) and is actively pursuing Level 3 certification. The company’s comprehensive Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) are currently CMMI Level 3 compliant and fall under the B-3 methodology.
