ITSolutions Awarded USAMRMC BRAC Contract

Silver Spring, Maryland, January 09, 2010 - ITSolutions announced today that it was awarded a Task Order from the United States Army Medical Research and Material Command (USAMRMC), under an existing BRAC IDIQ contract, to relocate Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) subordinate commands Army Combat Casualty Care (CCC) to Fort Sam Houston, Texas and Army Chemical Defense Research to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, and to relocate Navy Medical Research Command (NRMC) to Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

 

This requirement centers on providing services associated with scheduling, transporting, handling, and moving specialized medical research and laboratory equipment of the affected WRAIR and NMRC subordinate organizations. "This award validates the high quality of the existing work we are delivering for the Army and augments our growing support of BRAC relocation efforts,” said Lawrence O’Connor, Chief Operating Officer of ITSolutions.
